We filled a bus and a car with our team and many of the Jamii staff and family for a visit to a Tea Factory, west of Eldoret. The process looked interesting but we couldn't take photos inside and the manager taking us on the tour was very soft spoken, so not much info to share with you about processing tea. The drive was through beautiful country however...

In front of a tea plantation with Jackline (one of the teachers I worked with) plus her daughter, as well as Ann Gerson who was in the class as well.
We got back to the hotel just in time to be inside eating during what we understand is a fairly typical downpour. It had been doing this in the weeks leading up to our visit, but the school staff prayed for dry weather for us and so it has been.
I just tried to upload a video of the rain - but no luck...
